The snow fell all day yesterday and into the night. Snowflakes were swirling and swirling in the wind for hours. The windows were rattling something fierce and I could barely see the outlines of the trees until the streetlights finally lit up the sidewalks.
This morning we're snowed in. You can't even tell Chad spent the early morning hours trying to shovel us out. Gloves are drying in front of the fire and the poor coffee pot has perked since dawn.
I'm doing my best to keep tummies full of warm soup. Thankfully I brought home flowers the other day. I need to keep reminding myself that we need the winter to bring forth the spring.
Stay safe and warm and have a beautiful weekend . . . enjoy the snow or the sun wherever you are.
Coffee and flowers! :) Sound like you got hit with a lot of snow! We have about 5 inches here in IL. Maybe we'll build a snowman tomorrow. Take care!
